Lobby Perugia
Year 2023
Lobby Perugia is a site-specific project for a small hotel in the historic center of Perugia, Italy. The brief was simple: create a lobby that feels calm, tactile, and timeless — a space for arriving and staying, not just passing through.
I worked with a palette of walnut, travertine, and deep green textiles to echo the surrounding architecture while softening the acoustics and atmosphere. The custom seating and low tables are designed to anchor the room without dominating it — generous in proportion, but quiet in expression.
This project was about restraint. Letting the materials speak. Letting the light shift. And designing a space that welcomes you without announcing itself.
